Founder & CEO

Lewis is the Co-Founder and CEO of New Levels Coaching. A former international athlete, turned coach, Lewis set NLC up to inspire people to change their lives through running, just as he did with his own life.

Lewis graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc In Applied Sport Science and it was during this time Lewis became an International Athlete as well as a Qualified Coach. In 2012 Lewis won the British Indoor 1500m Title and booked his place on the GB&NI Athletics Team for the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Istanbul, Turkey.  He has since progressed to 3000m & 5000m and boasts PB’s of 3.41 -1500m, 7.55 – 3000m and 13.47 – 5000m.

Lewis’ coaching career started in 2007 when he become a UKA Qualified Assistant coach. He undertook work experience alongside British Athletics Endurance Coach; John Nuttall and started to work with the younger generation of athletes on summer athletics camps. Lewis went on to become an Elite Sport Tutor and Mentor for GB’s leading Junior athletes before setting up his online coaching business. He has now worked with 100’s of athletes from around the World both online and at training camps. Most recently Lewis and his wife Gemma were both guest coaches on the Steve Cram training weekends in Rutland and Kielder.
